Sometimes we have to embark on a grander campaign to get the trails that we need built, to collate public support, to lobby councillors and MP's and persuade council officers that a project is needed.
Most importantly a strength of opinion and sheer weight of numbers will prove that the demand exists so that private developers and wealthy landowners cannot ignore the existence of existing and new rights of way between the places people live.
A static webpage isn't dynamic enough to work for these campaigns, so we harness the power of social media and create an individual Facebook page for each campaign..

Clowne Branch Line Greenway
The development of the 7.4km disused Midland Railway Clowne Branch into a new Greenway connecting Creswell, through Clowne to Poolsbrook has been at the heart of what we do for over 15 years of campaigning.
We are overjoyed to see Derbyshire County Council take on the project with a view to completion mid 2019 but the threat of HS2 still looms
Stockley Trail Extension
We started a campaign in 2016 to attempt to gain support for extending the Stockley Trail northwards connecting Bolsover to Poolsbrook Country Park and the Trans Pennine Trail
Ongoing threats from the Coalite redevelopment, its re-modelling of Buttermilk Lane bridge and HS2 are making this a tough challenge and your support would be appreciated
